These reports reflect time between hospital specimen collection and receipt at the Illinois Department of Public Health Chicago laboratory, as well as the number of specimens deemed unsatisfactory, which were tested but require a retest.

Weekends are excluded from these calculations, since the Department's laboratory is only open Monday-Friday to receive specimens.
